Who We Are
Our Registered Massage Therapists at Solace Massage Therapy are Phashan Llewellyn and Jolaine Pryde.
Phashan Llewellyn, RMT
Phashan completed a three year specialized program at the accredited college, West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in Victoria, BC. She became registered by the CMTBC in October 2007. Since then she has worked at an integrated clinic, Chiropractic For Life, in Victoria, BC. In August 2008 she decided to open Solace Massage Therapy in the heart of downtown Victoria and dedicate herself to her practice. As a therapist she has a strong background in fitness and strongly believes in integrating patient education and self-awareness into her treatments resulting in patient self care and long term relief.
Phashan utilizes several techniques depending on the type of treatment, therapeutic, relaxation, or both. She utilizes swedish, muscle energy, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, remedial exercise and hydrotherapy. Within a treatment, Phashan develops a treatment plan for the patient incorporating homecare and remedial exercises to achieve long term goals.

Jolaine Pryde, RMT
We warmly welcome Jolaine to our clinic. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver, BC and became registered with the CMTBC in 2004. She has since worked in various types of clinics throughout North Vancouver, including multidisplinary practices, spa clinics and personal training facilites. Jolaine has recently relocated to Victoria and she is excited to start work.
Jolaine utilizes an educational approach helping patients with body health issues. She believes in using a comprehensive application of therapeutic tools to reach the goal of increasing self help skills and awareness. She leans towards a focus of myofascial work, accented by deep tissue massage, active stretching and stress reduction using breathing techniques.
